Idaho State Tax Commission

The Univac 1004 introduced in 1962 and used an internal stored programmed punched card data processing system. It saw extensive use by the US Army, including the first use of an electronic computer on a battlefield. The first application for this computer at the Tax Commission was sales tax tracking and tabulation.
